The Tour du Valat and an entire network of observers throughout the Mediterranean will thus be able to carry on their efforts to protect this emblematic species.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s not easy to read the rings attached to the legs of a Greater Flamingo, and errors are sometimes made due to poor quality equipment. It is therefore essential to use telescopes to read the bands from a distance (cost of a telescope: \u20ac1,500).[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
